All-in-one desktops (AIO) are a pretty cool breed because manufacturers have to find ways to cram a working computer into a screen-sized figure.
The Yoga AIO 7 is the latest update in Lenovo’s 2022 PC lineup and builds on the success of the latest generation model. This means that the new AIO retains the best screen feature of the modern era: a 90-degree swivel screen.
Believe it or not, switching from landscape to portrait orientation is much more practical than watching TikTok videos and YouTube Pants. (But if you want a screen for 16:9 content consumption, that’s great too.) Business users have found portrait layout useful for scanning through longer pages such as press releases, articles, and documents. While other professionals have taken advantage of the longer aspect ratio as video editing layers of footage, effects, and audio.
The Lenovo Yoga AIO 7 is no different from today’s rotating screens, but it does score style points for being an all-in-one desktop.
Tweaks aside, it has a 27-inch 4K IPS display with a 95 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. This means you can expect sharp, high-resolution content with color vibrancy that outperforms traditional sRGB panels.
For even more viewing, the monitor can also raise up to 72mm of height and tilt range of 5 and 15 degrees. Depending on how you aim the screen, part or all of your JBL certified 5W speakers will appear in the center of your desktop. Lenovo says the new speakers are 3 decibels louder than years ago.
With all the power inside, Lenovo is promoting the Yoga AIO 7 as the preferred duo for smartphones and laptops.
The only requirement is that the compatible smartphone must support DLNA, Airplay, Miracast or Lelink to mirror to desktop.
