The Xiaomi 12 series debuted in China at the end of last year and later expanded into global markets. The company introduced the Xiaomi 12 Pro in India as well. Notwithstanding, the brand is not finalized with the Xiaomi 12 lineup as there will be an Ultra mannequin (which will succeed Xiaomi 11 Ultra) and a T-numbered series. Recent leaks have hinted at what to expect regarding the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
Now, alleged live images of the phone have surfaced on the Internet, showing the design of the camera module.

The live image shared on Weibo shows that the design is quite different from other Xiaomi 12 series models. At first glance, one can clearly see the large camera bump taking center stage in the upper area of the device. The primary sensor is said to be a 1/1.1 inch lens purported to be Sony Exmor IMX800.
Xiaomi 12 Leaked Live Photos
An alleged leaked image shows the Xiaomi 12 Ultra camera module. The circular camera module has a total of seven apertures (excluding the LED flash). It will likely feature two of these lenses, a telephoto lens and a wide-angle lens. There could be another zoom lens similar to how Samsung works with its S-series Ultra model. The cylindrical separation on the right can be for a double LED. Next, we’re left with 3/4 unstated incisors. The phone can be seen in green and has a leather-like appearance on the back. The volume button is located on the right edge.
Another report from the Chinese IT Domestic website states that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have seven slots and has even been able to find cases with the exact holes (one is a display and the other is a live image). According to the report, the camera package will include a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP wide-angle lens, a 48MP periscope lens, and a LiDAR sensor among others.
The front end will have a 48MP selfie camera. There can be a lens that supports 120X zoom. The report also added that Xiaomi could offer an internal image sign processor called Surging C2 similar to OPPO and Vivo.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra specifications
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is said to receive a 6.73-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with 2K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ chip that is manufactured by TSMC instead of Samsung. It will likely run the MIUI 13 interface customized for Android 12 out of the box, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, and support for 5G network. That’s pretty much all we know about the Xiaomi 12 Ultra at the occasion.
