Honor 70 series will come with Sony IMX800 primary camera sensor

Honor 70 series is said to come with a massive Sony IMX800 primary camera sensor. The information comes from tipster Digital Chat Station. The Honor 70 series is expected to reach as the successor to the Honor 60 series. Notwithstanding, the brand has not announced the exact launch date yet.

The Sony IMX800 sensor has not yet been released and is expected to measure 1/1.1” in size. This would make it the largest in the industry and outperform Samsung’s 50MP 1/1.12 GN2 sensor. Except this, there is no extra information on the sensor.

Recently, an Honor phone with model number FNE-AN00 was spotted on the 3C certification website as well as the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The smartphone is expected to be the upcoming Honor 70 series. According to the listing, the alleged phone will be 5G compatible and will come with 60W fast charging support.

The Honor phone is said to have model number FNE-AN00 with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1080p resolution. It is said that it will use a BOE screen and support PWM high frequency dimming. The device is expected to be powered by a 4800mAh battery unit.

The Honor 70 series is expected to consist of the standard variants, Pro, and Pro+, with the former reportedly coming with a Snapdragon 7xx series processor, while the latter two are powered by Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 9000 chipsets respectively. Honor 70 series is likely to come with a leading advanced camera system.
