Last month, Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip that upgraded the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and feature phones with the new Qualcomm processor will start launching in the market next month.
Qualcomm’s recent statements revealed the expected launch date of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, as it is expected that Qualcomm will present this version during the upcoming 2022 Snapdragon Summit events, and the company has officially revealed the launch date of the event.
Qualcomm also clarified its plans to hold the Snapdragon Summit for 2022 from November 14-17, when the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip is expected to be unveiled.
Reports indicate that Qualcomm had held the Snapdragon Tech Summit for the year 2021 on the 30th of November until the first of December, where it presented the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip on the first day of the event, and then revealed the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chip the following day, and it is expected To present the new generation of processors during the event scheduled for this year.
