Tesla has significantly raised prices across its electric car lineup, according to changes to its online component that Electrek has spotted. The most affected versions are the long-range versions, with the price of the X AWD version jumping from $114,990 to $120,990.
The price of the AWD Long Range Model S also increased significantly by $5,000, from $9,990 to $104,990. Prices for the Y Long Range and Performance versions rose by $3,000 and $2,000 to $65,990 and $67,990, respectively.
Only one version of the Model 3 was affected, as it jumped from $54,490 to $57,990.
The company did not explain these changes, but high inflation, a lack of electronics and other problems can be blamed on it.
Last week, CEO Elon Musk was reported to have said he might reduce Tesla’s workforce due to rising inflation.
