Microsoft today officially announced the new version of the Surface Go laptop, which comes with the 11th generation of Intel processors, and the price starts from $ 600.
The new Surface Go update features a size of 12.4 inches, with a resolution of 1536 by 1024 pixels, and 3:2 dimensions. The device also measures 10.95 by 8.12 by 0.62 inches, and weighs 1.14 kg.
The Surface Laptop Go 2 also comes with the 11th generation of Intel processors in the Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, and the main model comes with 4 GB of RAM, and a storage capacity of 128 GB.
The device also launches in green with gray, and is also available in pink and blue, as well as the platinum model, and the device also comes with a slight upgrade in the charging life from 13 to 13.5 hours.
The device also launches with the Windows 11 operating system, and Microsoft confirms that the device supports the smooth replacement of more configurations, which include the keyboard, trackpad, and screen, as well as the battery, but the design of the device requires changing these configurations through authorized service providers.
Microsoft also confirms in the press release that this version comes with improvements in heat control, and is also characterized by quieter performance, with improvements in the quality of the HD camera, but the webcam comes with a resolution of 720 pixels as in the previous version, so it is expected that Microsoft will provide the upgrade in image processing.
The device also comes with a fingerprint sensor built into the power button in some models, and the device includes a USB-A port, a USB-C port, a headphone port, a Surface charging port, and comes with two microphones with Wi-Fi 6.
All versions are scheduled to come with Intel Core i5, while differing in memory and storage capacity, with the main model coming with 4 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage capacity at a price of $ 600.
