The rumors continue into NVIDIA’s release dates this weekend with new reports indicating that some of the green team’s upcoming products will appear later than expected.
Heading the news is the GeForce GTX 1630, a new model that was supposed to be released on May 31 but has been delayed until June 15.
Today’s sources report that the new delay date is now listed as “to be determined” as manufacturers are having problems “in securing necessary components”.
Sources have also echoed earlier reports of the GeForce RTX 40 series launch leaning more toward the traditional release schedule, with the GeForce RTX 4090 main graphics card debuting in September.
The GeForce RTX 4080 and GeForce RTX 4070 are expected to follow in October and November, respectively.
It’s worth noting that the GTX 1630 “GTMK” (Go To Market Kit) was introduced on May 31 and that board partners already had the initial cards made.
The packaging design has also been completed and approved. Board partners are currently waiting for the update on the launch date.
