During the same year, Samsung presented its Linux on DeX project to run the entire Linux system, similar to the Windows operating system.

Unfortunately, the project has stalled, with Samsung now sending an email to testers stating that the beta program has expired and that Linux on DeX will not be supported on devices running Android 10.

For his part, Samsung’s announcement of this matter was not surprising, as the project is Samsung’s most inactive project.

Also, Linux on DeX has not received any major improvements in its less than 11-month rollout period.

It was all about expanding support for more devices, and besides that, the only official system image offered was Ubuntu 16.04.

Finally, whether you have a Samsung device that is not running Android 10, you can still try Linux on DeX by downloading its APK file and then downloading the Linux system from Samsung ‘s website.
