Acer Releases New Update For TravelMate Series 12th Gen Intel Processors Or Ryzen 6000 Pro Series

Acer has announced the new update to the TravelMate series of devices that launch with the 12th generation Intel processors, or the AMD Ryzen 6000 Pro series of processors.

The new upgrade comes to Acer’s TravelMate series of devices that include the TravelMate P2 and TravelMate P4 with Intel vPro processors, TravelMate P4 with AMD Ryzen Pro processors, TravelMate Spin P4 with Intel vPro processors, and TravelMate Spin P4 with AMD Ryzen Pro processors.

All versions of Acer’s new TravelMate devices come with TPM 2.0, an IR camera with a shutter to protect user privacy, and a fingerprint scanner.

AMD models of devices feature the Microsoft Pluton processor for security, and the devices support the MIL-STD-810H standards.

Acer TravelMate P2

The TraveMate P2 is now available in two sizes, the first version comes in 14 inches and weighs 1.6 kg, and the second version comes in 15.6 inches and weighs 1.7 kg.

The TravelMate P2 features a 14-inch FHD IPS display with 12th generation Intel processors that includes a Core i7 in the top model.

The device supports configurations up to 32GB RAM and 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage, and the 15.6-inch Premium Edition complies with these specifications.

Acer also emphasizes that the TravelMate P2 is made from recycled plastic, and features an OceanGlass touchpad that’s made from recycled ocean plastic, with a layer of textured mimic glass.

Acer TravelMate P4

The TravelMate P4 is available with Intel vPro or Ryzen Pro 6000 processors, and comes in a 14-inch version in a 1.58kg model, and a 16-inch version with a 1.68kg weight, and the featured model comes with Intel Core i7 processors on top of the model.

The two versions also come in dimensions of 16:10, a display resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels, and a random memory of up to 32 GB of RAM in DDR4 memory.

It also comes with a 1 TB capacity of PCIe Gen 4 SSD, and the company confirms that the premium 14-inch version supports up to 13 hours, while the 16-inch premium version comes with a charging life of 9.4 hours.

On the other hand, the TravelMate P4 AMD version comes with a size of 14 inches and a weight of 1.48 kg, and the premium version comes in a size of 16 inches and weighs 1.68 kg, with the same specifications for the screen and the distinctive battery for the Intel model. The TravelMate P4 supports 4G LTE networks, and Bluetooth 5.2 LTE.

Acer TravelMate Spin P4

The TravelMate Spin P4 features a 2-in-1 convertible design, comes in a 14-inch size and weighs 1.58 kg, and is available with Intel vPro or AMD Ryzen 6000 Pro processors.

The devices also feature an anti-glare design, with a display resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels, input via AES 1.0 pen, or touch input, and the devices support Wi-Fi-6E technology and connect to 4G LTE networks.
