The Russian subsidiary of “Google” intends to file an application to the arbitration court to admit its bankruptcy, according to what the company published today, Wednesday.
“The company expects its bankruptcy and the impossibility of fulfilling its financial obligations as of March 22, 2022,” said a statement issued by the Russian subsidiary of “Google” today.
At the moment, the Russian court has imposed a fine on Google for sales of more than 7.2 billion rubles based on claims from the watchdog Roskomnadzor, which the company had to pay before March 19, 2022. And last May, a new case was opened against Google. .
Google has also been fined more than once by the Russian court for not removing content banned in Russia on its sites, including on YouTube.
