With the exception of Samsung and Huawei phones, processors in the Android ecosystem are actually limited to one of two options – Qualcomm or MediaTek.
To round this up and possibly improve the shortcomings of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Qualcomm has now teased a new event for this week – an update to its flagship processor is expected.
Qualcomm announced, through a post on Chinese social networking site Weibo nowadays, that “Snapdragon Night” will be broadcast live on May 20 at 8AM EST.
Although the post doesn’t explicitly refer to any processor or chipset, we can be almost certain that it will raise the curtains on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus along with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
