This morning, Apple began sending a set of updates to its various devices, on top of which is the iOS 15.6 update for iPhones, and the iPadOS 15.6 update for iPads.

In addition to these two updates for the iPhone and iPad, the American company sent the macOS 12.5 update for Mac devices, the watchOS 8.7 update for its Apple Watch smartwatches, and the tvOS 15.6 update for Apple TV.

These aforementioned updates are already reaching users in a number of different regions, and offer light features, performance improvements, and bug fixes in Safari.

Beginning with the iPhone and iPad update, the iOS 15.6 and iPad OS 15.6 update adds the ability to pause, rewind, replay, and fast-forward a live sports game in the TV app and fix some bugs in Settings, Mail, and Safari.

The macOS 12.5 update also gets an update to the TV app and bug fixes in Safari.

As for the watchOS 8.7 smart watch update, it includes significant improvements, bug fixes, and security updates. The tvOS 15.6 TV update also brings improvements to the overall performance and stability of the devices.

In general, all updates provide security updates, a general improvement in the performance of devices, and a solution to some problems and vulnerabilities that may threaten the security of your device, so Apple recommends installing updates as soon as they reach you.

For people who are still using the iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 or the first generation iPhone SE, this might be one of the last updates they ever get for these devices, as all indications are that these devices are not getting the iOS 16 update.
