Instagram users previously had to go through lengthy procedures to remove an account.
Instagram users can now instantly delete their account from the mobile app. No, users did not have access to this option previously. However, Instagram has now made it possible for users to cancel an Instagram account directly from the app to comply with the latest Apple App Store standards.
Reportedly, the option to cancel an account from the app must be present in any app that offers in-app account creation, according to Apple’s new App Store review guidelines. Instagram users previously had to go through lengthy procedures to remove an account.
The steps are as follows:
Opening the account from Apple devices.
Click on the personal account icon, located at the bottom right of the screen.
Click on the three lines at the top right of the screen, known in English as “hamburger icon instagram”.
– Click on the word “Settings” in English.
-Click on the word “Account” in English.
Two options will appear for you: deactivating the account or deleting it, accompanied by a warning that deactivating the account is temporary, and deleting the account is permanent.
Click on Delete Account.
